Situated on the main city road of Kabe, Hiroshima, Takeda Koi Farm is one of the mainstay bloodlines behind Showa, as we know them today. Unfortunately, Takeda-san passed away in Autumn 2007. He was one of my mentors, and someone of whom, I had the absolute utmost of respect! He knew the history of just about every Koi Farm in Japan, and was just a mind of information and knowledge to a level that was hard to comprehend. |
